I designed & illustrated a bookmark design to serve as my new business card, and I like how that turned out, so here it is~
(website & socials are listed on reverse) #Illustration#Comics#ComicArt#MastoArt#ClipStudioPaint
Posted a fresh new digital download today. Absolutely loving the artwork I made for it [image below]. If you'd like to support my work, the link below will take you to my Ko-Fi Page membership. Each month you can download a new wallpaper. I make artwork and then turn them into wallpapers using Canva & Clip Studio Paint. (art below is featured in this month's wallpaper, but is not the wallpaper itself)

I took part in an art telephone game for the first time in forever!! I was having trouble rendering some gift art so I took a break from it to do this 😅
The design doesn't belong to any one person! I just redrew the previous person's art, who redrew the previous one, who redrew the previous one, etc. It was an organic result of an 8-person collaboration.
I suddenly remembered that old grunge canvas I built forever ago. It‘s still super fun to draw on it and get messy!
I want to draw a whole story with it some time, but it‘s probably not going to be a fun one.
i must say, in 35+ years of using GUI-driven software, CSP has to have one of the worst UIs i've ever worked with 😅 you can tell this is someone's roll-your-own C++ GUI library project that evolved over decades
“The hunter, part IV”
I made a little series of these after a random doodle that started them all with a seemingly clueless hunter on the prowl, meanwhile the world’s largest (and friendliest) bear was standing right behind him. I need to dig up that first one.
I could appreciate the realist G-pen tool in #clipstudiopaint and I like it more than the classic one. I think the thickness control is better.
I ran some #penplotterart tests on my @idrawpenplotter. I would really like to get a workflow with a brush going, but the simple ballpoint pen currently still works best. I might be able to work some magic with #blenderfreestyle to improve the brush look, though.
So far I tried workflows with #clipstudiopaint vector export, Clip Studio and #Inkscape image tracer, Inkscape tweening, a half finished model I made in blender a while ago and some #blendergeometrynodes magic.
