Haven't posted a pic of my Aloe plants in awhile. In the last few months, the pup "junior" has been struggling. I'm not sure why, but i've moved it into a better window in hopes that it will do better.
The other plants are doing well, to the point where I can no longer tell which one was the weaker one when i first got them. Unfortunately one of them I've forgotten to rotate so it's got a pretty obvious tilt.
I could use some general knowledge | help. So, a few months back, I got a Lola succulent. It unfortunately came without care instructions, so I've pretty much had to wing it. Even had to reverse image search to learn what kind it was. And since then... I've botched it... by watering it. I learned unfortunately too late that I had over-watered it... is there anything at all I can do to help or save it? First picture is before watering... 2nd is it today. It's kept in a well-lit room. The sun comes in through a curtain-less window in the afternoons and reflects off white | cream colored walls. I've no problem providing more sun for it if this would help. I mainly leave it where it's at right now because I thought it would like similar lighting to my aloe plant which has thrived in this room.
Our Epiphyllum (orchid cacti) is sure giving her best effort to finally bloom. We have been waiting for years. Amazing that this is happening just a few weeks after our freak hailstorm (26-May-23) that beat the crap out of our tropical garden.
For a brief break from snow pics, here are a couple of views of a little #succulent I got myself as a slightly belated 60th #birthday present! Seems it is likely x Gasteraloe 'Kebela' an intergeneric hybrid, though I haven't found any details on parentage. I notice with the big uptick in the popularity of cacti and succulents in recent years, there is a huge amount of related content online, almost all of it is very low quality! #winter#houseplants#gasteria#aloe sneaking in a #FensterFreitag
Made a few more variations of the #clubCrochet#succulent#amigurumi ! One was for my MIL, and the other my neighbour commissioned after falling in love with the one I gave her for Christmas. First time I ever sold a piece!
Back to the succulent pillow project - time to sew all the pieces together! I'm figuring it out as I go along, as this is my first time sewing crochet, and the pattern I'm using doesn't really have any guidance.
