The US media vilifies liberal universities as if they were the bastions of antisemitism. But these universities are the safest places for Jews only second to synagogues. The far-right has been successfully attacking universities in red states and is now using antisemitism (any criticism of Israeli policies and solidarity with Palestinians) to crack down on academic freedom in blue states. They care very little about real #antisemitism.
MSNBC and Hillary Clinton are joining the far-right smear campaign against liberal universities. She calls students ignorant and that they don’t know any history. Does history justify genocide? She must believe that “will to power” justifies violence.

New research/polling from The Sutton Trust outlines the impact of the cost of living crisis on students & their experience of university.
Around two-thirds of students have needed to take on part-time work while studying, with an impact on their studies including missed classes as well as missed assignment deadlines.
While more evident for students from the most deprived areas, many rich(er) students also need to work to survive university.
#Students in the US are not just setting up #encampments to show solidarity with the #Palestinians but using their #graduation ceremonies to highlight the plight of the people of Palestine.
