Cape Breton is so, so beautiful! Next level amazing. I don't think I've seen a National Park this scenic since we were out west two years ago. We went on a 4.7 mile hike today and we're rewarded with some cool views, but the drive itself was simply stunning.

We recently visited the #NationalPark#BannauBrycheiniog in #Wales. I practised pronouncing & is actually quite easy and roles off the back of the throat without a problem for an Urdu speaker. There was lots of walking to be done and on the morning of the first day, we went to the #waterfalls at #Pontneddfechan. The return trip was about 10.5 km long. It was a nice way to whet the appetite for hiking in this picturesque part of the country.
Omg. My bed. I'm back in my bed. It's a crappy camper mattress, but dammit, it's my bed! We're starting our 3 day drive back to Vermont tomorrow. So tonight, I'm not doin' anything but playing video games while laying on this hard, hard mattress of mine.

A cute little wooden shed? Nope! It's concrete designed to look like anything but concrete.
The walls are a single slab, but textured to look like wood plank. The roof is cast to reflect shingles (WHY?!?). Ultimately, all is revealed by the damage to the roof, which pulls back the curtain on the fraud.
It neither stands out nor fits in. Why why why can't this poor building just be what it is?
