Bought a second hand 42.5mm 1.7 lens for my ancient 4/3 Lumix, and this is the first try out at portrait photography. My daughter yesterday at Shoreham Beach, the same location as the previous 2 images.
It is 8:30 here on the left coast. Time for some street corner talking, some tacos and a shot and a beer. I hope you all have a safe and fun Fryday night. Good Night from St James.
Hope your day is a good one! It's been awhile since I got to the #beach but it always sounds like a good idea! LOL This scene is from #TybeeIsland on the #Georgia#Coast
Two images taken at Shoreham Boardwalk, Sussex, UK last spring. Both handheld, same time, same camera, from the same place. One max zoom and the other max wide angle. Camera used: Canon Powershot SX50 HS with 50 X zoom, Ultra Wide Angle, 24-1200mm lens.
The wonders of:
a) modern superzoom bridge cameras
and
b) long lens distance compression.
I usually follow back, & love boosts.
Caribbean Ocean, watercolor. I'm a beach girl at heart. Since I can't travel to the beach frequently I paint it often. One of my favorite aspects of this kind of painting is trying to capture the interplay of light on water.
At the beginning of the pandemic, our dream of retiring in Europe dashed, we moved to #Florida to ride out the storm. Got up early one morning to clear my head and take a walk on the beach and this is what I say. A #thunderstorm of the most beautiful kind. Juno Beach.
One of my favorite places to be, is under the pier. As a child it kind of felt like a fort. Sound of the waves, you could hear nothing else around you,
