Absolutely fantastic #SpringMigration day of #Birding #CentralPark today! Had 7 first-of-season #birds: Blue-winged Warbler, Worm-eating Warbler, Chestnut-sided Warbler, Nashville Warbler, Scarlet Tanager, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Gray-cheeked Thrush.

My favorites were the Blue-winged Warblers. There were several of them in the vicinity of the Azalea Pond, all calling noisily, making them relatively easy to spot. #NaturePhotography

Walking in the spring forest with all the new growth, the wildflowers like Trilliums and the fresh look to the forest is a rejuvenation of the soul. I call this Trillium Trail because as you can see the on either side of the path, the forest floor is loaded with Trilliums.

I don't know if this is the chick's parent or another starling – either way, it didn't bring food, so the chick took its revenge (in 10× slow-motion).

(Sort of reminds me of the piranha plants from Super Mario – you know, the ones coming out of pipes just as you're jumping over them.)
