I’m an Illustrator and Designer with 16 + years experience working within distributed teams worldwide across many industries including Environmental and Sustainability, Video Games, and Medical.
My most recent work was as a contracts negotiator, including NDA and DPA, for a Danish tech company.
Please let me know if you know about an opportunity in a great work environment, or if you know someone who could point me in the right direction to find a role that aligns with my skills and values.
i can #mutualaid post til the cows come home for Venmo $rachaelspooky but but what i really need is a JOB.
If you have an opening for a software developer position, I have a decade of experience. Most of that is full stack, filling the roles of dev, qa, dba, sysadmin, whoever else, because the companies were 30-200 people and job titles are just averages really, with most of the work being php/js with frameworks laravel and angular respectively, with experience in variety of other languages and environments including Java and C# as well as hobbyist experience in rust.
I've used all sorts of tools and operating systems, you name it I've used either that or some similar thing, I'll pick up the basics in an afternoon. I've been both full stack and my own DBA this entire time, so I'll normalize your database and keep you safe from Bobby Tables. I've even done a lot of RPA work, I didn't expect to learn that. A decade of experience throws a wide variety of tools at you that you have to pick up fast. Whatever your company does, if I don't already know it by heart, I will.
I don't suppose there are any freelance #DataAnalysts interested in mentoring an apprentice middle-aged queer guy with a spotty work history, #MentalIllness and an absolute loathing of and revulsion to traditional performative job interviews (blind dates on steroids), knowledge quizzes, and milquetoast linkedin-style "networking", are there? Yeah, didn't think so. But I've already written all of this so here you are.
I have a solid history working with spreadsheets, relational databases, rudimentary knowledge of PHP and Python. At a previous employer I designed and programmed custom scripting for multiple variable data printing projects. I was enrolled in Google's "Data Analyst" training on Coursera but unfortunately can't afford the monthly fees to continue.
The caveat is you would need to meet or exceed my current generous retail salary of $15/hr. Try me for a week. If you aren't satisfied, just assassinate me in lieu of payment.
I’m a Website Designer and Frontend Developer with a wealth of experience. I’m people driven, excel in cross-communication, working in teams, problem solving and enjoy client communication.
Passionate about web accessibility
Genuinely like documentation and client education
Prefer lean, modular, reusable and light JavaScript implementations
Simplifying complexity is my jam
I am happy with Contract or Permanent roles. Remote. US based.
So I spent the last two years on a career break getting healthy. At the start I swore to myself I wouldn't work in the tech industry ever again. But here I am, considering going back.
I'm a former software developer.
I have a bachelor's degree in computer science and 2 years of professional experience in the field.
Job leads are appreciated.
Remote work preferred, but I'm willing to relocate.
I've been unexpectedly laid off, & am looking for a new role. I have a PhD in quantum physics, lasers, & optical sensors, & experience in integrated photonics design.
I'm open to roles as a technical contributor, doing engineering & research. I've also been an adjunct professor & a teaching assistant, which I loved. I'm not able to relocate right now, so I'm looking for roles in Minnesota or remote.
Thank you in advance for any connections, advice, or opportunities #OpenToWork#fedihired
Heya! I'm in need of a new job. My current gig is contract based, which I don't see as a sustainable option going forward.
I'm a software developer based in Pennsylvania. I enjoy taking on complex problems and finding solutions to them, especially close to the hardware. I've been teaching myself to code for about nine years now, gaining experience in a myriad of technologies.
So, if anyone is in need of a developer with extensive experience in Rust, C/C++, CI/CD, or webdev, please reach out!
I can be reached via email at julia AT insertdomain DOT name.
We had a customer shift their assessment date out 2 months, so our march is available if there's anyone out there who needs assessment/architecture/engineering/redteam/bluteam work on short notice
