Chicagoan here: If you’re not used to cold winters, here’s how to keep warm.
• Wear a stocking cap inside
• Make sure cracks around windows/doors are sealed. Use duct tape if you have to. It doesn't have to be pretty
• Use a heating pad
• Run your pjs through the dryer before you put them on before bed
• Keep your furnace temperature as low as you can stand it — it keeps the energy load low, so you don't tax the grid
• Drink hot beverages & eat soup
• Cover your feet

The country is experiencing some very frigid air. Here in NM, it's 12 degrees right now. So I thought a view of Florida on the beach at sunrise might be nice. Even when it's cold there the AC is usually still running. This is under the Juno Pier, a place I enjoyed many sunrises. How cold is it where you are?

Sun's out today trying to melt this off but we had a full-blown snow storm all day yesterday, so I'm posting my most wintery of tunes, "Twisted Trees, Winter Tiger." A quiet minute and a half of slow moving harmonics and meditations on loneliness.
