Beautifully rendered video of a wheel-shaped space habitat with artificial gravity. This shows viscerally what I pointed out in my Substack posts on the Single-Family Space Colony: that windows are a bad idea in rotating environments. #space#3dmodel
Made my first "artistic" 3D Model, and of course, I made an Otter . I really wanted to compete in the Printables "Quick Flexi" challenge. If you like 3D Printing... or Otters, check it out!
I spent 2 weeks making a #3D scene in #Blender as a gift for my mother for #Christmas. It's my first substantial 3D scene, while I've made some simple, static geometry before I've never made an entire scene whole cloth and never rigged a model before. I did all the textures from scratch as well using a combination of #MaterialMaker, #Krita, and #Gimp. There's plenty I'd like to improve but I'm incredibly proud of what I managed to do and learn with this.
Biiscuit is also contributing to the polish of the CCTVs game...
(here, a screen made in #blender3D and exported into .glb and sent to my homemade viewer)
My current progress on the base model for the new style of the main character. Fairly happy with it so far, they look so cute. They also have cute beans on their paws.
The head took a bit longer than I was expecting, was fairly complex with the topology. The tail and hair (with some edits to the hair) were copied from the old design, since I was fairly happy with them already
Glad I decided to redo them, I'm much happier with this style #gamedev#indiedev#SoloDev#gamedesign#3dmodel#blender
