A few people responded to my post about where to sell the models for my Filament Stackers saying that Printables allowed you to sell individual models now. Turns out, yes they do but there are 2 problems.

1. they don't mention it ANYWHERE and it's hidden under "Settings".
2. this warning is FUCKING SCARY and almost drove me away, because the context was name & address.

After digging to find an example it turns out they only display name and country.

#3DPrinting where to sell a model?

My Filament Stackers are ready to go, but I've reached an impasse. Thangs.com wants me to set up ongoing plans that people subscribe to. MyMiniFactory wants me to pay like $25 a month.

Are there any 3D printing focused sites that would just let me sell a model for $6 and just take a cut of the sale with no monthly fees or buyer subscriptions?

Some months ago, I created a replacement filter box for the Qidi X-Max 3. Today, I found that someone has remixed a "Bento box" filter for the X-Max 3. Mine is an exhaust filter; the "bento box" is a recirculating filter. So I wanted to link to the Bento box as an alternative to my design for anyone who wants a recirculating filter.

It happens that the bento box is on printables.

@cults3d appears to be intentionally breaking links to printables, as you can see in the description for my model there.

My link to my detailed instructions on Maker Forums works, but the link to printables next to it is broken. I have tried multiple times to edit the description to have a working link, but with no luck. It's not a typo in my text.

Come on guys, do better. This kind of anti-user behavior isn't good when large companies do it, and it's not actually any better when small ones do it.

Over the past couple days, I designed and made a replacement carbon + HEPA filter for my Qidi X-Max 3. I generally like the X-Max 3, but removing the small carbon granule bag they ship is difficult, and there's no UFP filtration at all. I've completely removed the original filter, and replaced it with a unit that sits outside the printer, holds several times as much carbon for better VOC adsorbtion, and has HEPA filtration for UFP.

It's cheap, quick, and easy to upgrade. Four hours of printing, and a few minutes of assembly.

While this design is nothing like the Nevermore Micro, the HEPA filters are the same used in the Nevermore Micro v6 XL, and I heartily recommend the Nevermore, which I use in my other printer, where there is room to add it. I acknowledge my debt to that project; if it didn't exist I probably wouldn't have actually made this. ❤️

Hey @cults3d I've got a bunch of items in my cart, I click on Proceed to Download which I would think should take me to the Payment page but it just reloads the same page. I've just tried it on my laptop and same thing. Any ideas?

I have been doing a lot of 3D printing, got a little cocky and left a PETG print start and go while I was out. Came back to a blob. I blame the ASA filament for clogging the nozzle. #3dprinting

@cults3d Any chance you could add functionality to download individual files from multi-file purchases? It's really frustrating when a purchase is hundreds of MB because of 10 different variants, presupported versions, etc. and you only want the basic one. There's also no indication prior to purchase that the zip is so gigantic.

I've noticed that there's a significant lack of dark purple ABS. Fusion Filaments are about the only one I've found (that'll ship to me) that isn't basically some shade of lilac.
