Sorry for repeating myself, but if you live in a Christian-majority country, pay attention to ex-Muslim atheists.

Christians in Christian-majority countries and Muslims in Muslim-majority countries frequently make false claims about being persecuted. After a while, it can be easy to find yourself tuning out such claims.

But it's different if we're talking about Christians or Muslims in a place in which they are not in power.

This is from January of last year, but it is still funny to me.

Florida is very flat and very close to sea level.

Florida is also full of far-right lunatics who don't believe in climate change, and who have consistently voted to make climate change worse.

Now home insurance is getting too expensive, and people are being forced out of their homes. The dildo of consequences rarely arrives lubricated.

Fast food got to where it is by being significantly cheaper than everyone else.

Now that fast food costs about the same as fast-casual, why would I pay the same money for less-healthy, worse-tasting food?

I can go to the deli counter at my grocer and get a cheaper, healthier, tastier meal than fast food offers.

If you're a radical leftie & able to act in character - you can infiltrate far right groups without too much extra efforts. They're not too bright & they don't have as much public support as they want. They LOVE it when any POC can be #tokenized. That should be the least controversial thing possible.

If the US saw lack of ICC jurisdiction as a valid defense that exempts Israel from ICC prosecution, then US would not have welcomed ICC arrest warrants for Putin—who also rejects ICC jurisdiction. But instead the US happily welcomed ICC warrants against Putin, and stands by those warrants to this day.

International rules based order mandates consistency in law and the application of law—for opponents & allies alike. That's how justice is supposed to work.
