So the Black man that everyone was laughing at for dialing in to his court case from his car, while his license was suspended, is not so foolish. Racism has people laughing at its victims.

@mekkaokereke I've never understood (beyond being cruel for the sake of cruelty) why the system takes away people's ability to travel anywhere (including to work) when they fall behind on child support.

I had a (white) friend who fell behind on his own child support payments during the covid lockdowns and the system completely destroyed him. I didn't know it's considered civil and so you have no rights to a lawyer. That's a massive extra dose of cruelty for only cruelty's sake.

@mekkaokereke I also feel for Mr. Harris when I found out that he had been told his license had been restored years ago. I don't know how the license revocation/restoration process works, but if I'm told by someone in a knowledgeable position that something has been done, I should be able to trust that. Mr. Harris should've been able to trust that too.

Once again, tabloids (like tmz) work to normalize cruelty in our society.

Ps: if you wish to ensure your cat is provided with a warm computer to sleep on, you may want to consider running the Boinc software (https://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php). It'll will donate your computer resources to scientific projects of your choice and ensure your computer is active to provide a warm bed.

So turns out, when you reach level 40 in #PokemonGo, you get new requirements in addition to getting xp in order to level up. One of the tough ones (IMO) is getting 200 pokemon in a single day. All of the other ones you can work towards over getting the 6 million xp needed, but that one is all in a single day.

Anyways, I got the requirement yesterday. I'm very curious to know what the requirements will be for further levels. Hopefully Lvl 42 isn't "catch 300 pokemon in a single day"

Always remember, the crimes of Israel do not transfer to individual Jews; just like the crimes of Hamas do not transfer to individual Palestinians.

and new ink day. Today's ink is Colorverse's /Great Plains ink from their USA Special Ink collection.

PS: Colorverse? Why you gotta do Nebraska dirty like this? No red sheen? Not even the state name on the bottle? 😢 I know there's a kansas and Iowa that are different colors so it's not like it just happens to be one ink for all of the fly over states.

And the #NewFountainPenDay wouldn't be complete without a new pen. This time is a Montegrappa Deep Sea.

I really like the design, but the internals have me worried. There's a lot of metal-on-resin threads. In fact, every thread is metal on thread (cap, body, &converter). Hopefully it's a good, strong resin or else I weep for the threads.

Edit: I've Decided to return the pen. I LOVE the design but the threads just worry me too much and I want to actually use pens in my collection
