The problem with talking to game collectors is that they exercise moon logic for why I’m “doing it wrong”.

Apparently, buying from storefronts like Steam and GOG.com means I’m a minimalist who’s afraid of “ownership”.

Also, I’m apparently jealous of the big boys because I can’t afford a $1,000 for a WATA-graded sealed copy of Action 52. 🤣

Seeing how many people on fountain pen companion only have one or two pens, I'm very curious what those one pens are. I'm very curious what pens make people go "I like this enough to join a website for this very niche thing, but I don't need a second one."

Does anyone know someone who fits that and they're just very happy having a collection of one?

So the Black man that everyone was laughing at for dialing in to his court case from his car, while his license was suspended, is not so foolish. Racism has people laughing at its victims.

@mekkaokereke I also feel for Mr. Harris when I found out that he had been told his license had been restored years ago. I don't know how the license revocation/restoration process works, but if I'm told by someone in a knowledgeable position that something has been done, I should be able to trust that. Mr. Harris should've been able to trust that too.

Once again, tabloids (like tmz) work to normalize cruelty in our society.

@mekkaokereke I've never understood (beyond being cruel for the sake of cruelty) why the system takes away people's ability to travel anywhere (including to work) when they fall behind on child support.

I had a (white) friend who fell behind on his own child support payments during the covid lockdowns and the system completely destroyed him. I didn't know it's considered civil and so you have no rights to a lawyer. That's a massive extra dose of cruelty for only cruelty's sake.

NPD! The Namisu Nova kickstarter pocket arrived! Kinda wish I'd gone for the bead-blasted Ti section instead of the polished Ti to better match the Ti nib, but I'm still very happy with it. The section is interesting. It doesn't have any internal threads for the nib housing. Instead there's a metal knurled piece that threads through the back of the section into the nib housing, which then keeps it in place.
Not sure if it's eyedropperable 🤔 Probably would need to add an o-ring.

The pen with the cap posted to the back turns it into a full-sized pen.

Child support is such a fucked up system in this country. Speaking as someone who has a deadbeat father that went out of his way to avoid having any way for my mom to get child support. Speaking as someone who's brother in law had to pay child support for 13 years even though he always was the only (not primary, only) one taking care of the child.
