Veilid is nigh. Cult of the Dead Cow, hackers.town, and friends have joined forces to bring you a platform that can change the future of private and secure communications.

The Launch for this platform will happen at DEFCON ( @defcon ) August 10-13th in LasVegas (We hope to see you there!)

If you'd like to help us get this party started, we are offering some threads with unique artworks to commemorate this team effort. There are several options to choose from, and also a donation option.

Any funds raised here will be used to help with the costs of the launch party (a lot of work and personal funding has already gone into this) and remaining funds will be put into the general fund of the Veilid Foundation (a non-profit organized to foster adoption of the Veilid platform)

You want to help us get this new beginning off the ground?

Immediately after launch there will be opportunities to help with code and extensions.

I just got word that The Diana Initiative is looking for some boost to funding this year. They had gear stolen since last year, and have not hit their funding mark to ensure a smooth conference this year.

I know it's tough out there this year, but considering decisions by other women oriented conferences, it seems like they deserve our support.
