The 7th First Annual Ladds 500 took place in southeast Portland today and it was absolutely amazing. Well over 500 people (estimated!) pedaled circles around Ladd Circle Park until they hit 100 miles. They began at 10:00 am and some of them are probably still pedaling as I type this.

I saw once a GBA that had a cartridge with an USB-C port to put games inside without even having to disconnect it from the console.
Anyone knows if there's somewhere they sell that?

@Nawer_Rapter they are called "flash carts" or "everdrive". A lot of them take an SDCard so you can expand the storage. You can get them on Amazon.

@Nawer_Rapter have you considered a Linux or Android handheld? The ones made by and are pretty easy to use and come with a ton of games, including GBA. I have an with that works great!

I'm a web perf nerd, so I install every browser I can find and run all the benchmarks on https://browserbench.org on a regular basis.

I notice that (on Windows 11) Firefox is much better at Speedometer 3.0 than it was on 2.0.

It's scoring as well as Chrome most of the time, and outperforms Opera and Edge handily.

It still sucks at Jetpack 2.1 and MotionMark 1.3 though.

@Vivaldi is coming out on top right now!

I've always thought that Vivaldi was more of a UI experiment, what with all the drawers and such, but it's really benching well. I should daily drive it for a while and see how the PWA support is.

@louisrcouture typescript is fine as long as I can //@ts it. It's the people who insist that everyone use it that get on my nerves. the extensions you use in your IDE are between you and your god. Don't foist a transpiler on your teammates just to do some fancy linting.
