With the news that Google is going to "supercharge" Maps with "AI" (and the poor results I've had with Apple Maps), I finally checked out OpenStreetMap: https://www.openstreetmap.org/

OMG THIS IS AMAZING. So much more useful detail! Incredible! Going to dig up an app for my phone and use this for a while to see how it compares to the ad- and AI-ridden nonsense.

Good news that you (or anyone else) can easily fix it yourself, or leave a note on the map for other volunteers to fix. And routing will work in the next data update. By the way, do you remember that supermarket and the route? We can double check it and improve our algorithm if it’s not an OpenStreetMap.org issue.

Looks like some users forget to update maps. A red dot on the bottom right menu button means that some of downloaded maps should be updated. Go to Download Maps dialog in that menu and do it! :)

@25kV if your edit is in OSM, and these objects/info are supported by OM, and the date displayed in OM is after your edit date, and you downloaded up to date maps, then it should work. Please send us a link in OpenStreetMap.org to your edit here or at our support email by using Report a bug button.

@organicmaps hi. I love your android app, but no matter what I do (including wiping all data and completely reinstalling) the maps don't update with recent edits. Have checked against OSM. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

P.S. Don't forget to update maps after updating the app to see all improvements and avoid unexpected issues.
