There is something disturbing at YouTube. Just try finding that De Niro/Biden by any search criteria. All you find is the stories about his presser in NYC without scrolling thru endless irrelevancies. It’s uncanny that any search could be this bad. It’s willful. See for yourself.

With “campaign ad” added to the searching got about 50+ videos including ones that looked like a campaign ad plus story. I didn’t watch any. This was on the YouTube app on iPhone iOS.

  1. Another beautiful day in sunny/breezy NorCal. I haven’t yet used the A/C this year and it’s almost June.
  2. My local grandkids assure me we have a plan to de-kittify the yard this weekend, and NC granddaughter won more awards last night, including MVP for lacrosse.
  3. 85% settled in with new iPad, although not having the “Home” key feels like a stairway without rails.
    Bonus: 4) An afternoon nap!

Was watching some YouTube before on the TV and it started to sporadically flick to a dark screen, the UI elements from the YouTube App also went with that, so that rules out the video itself.

It was so sporadic though we've yet to determine what it is... YouTube app? HDMI Cable? Apple TV? the TV itself!?

For the sake of €€€, I hope it's just the app or very most the HDMI cable failing 😬

I have a lot of streaming services (played through Amazon Fire Stick) and YouTube is the least stable of all of them.

Restarting (sometimes all the way from unplugging) usually works for me.

This makes excellent sense to me. If we collectively are to hold off the existential calamity of , a good portion of our consumerist economy will take a huge hit — even as some is replaced by more sensible options. Wholesale tourism would be at the top of my list of sacrifices to the gods, even as I too have indulged in unnecessary air travel in the past.

🤦🏻‍♀️😳 & have discussed a possible advisory role for the Tesla leader should TFG reclaim WH, the latest sign that the once-frosty relationship between the 2 has thawed.

The role hasn’t been fully hammered out and might not happen, but they discussed ways to give Musk formal input & influence over policies related to border security and the economy, both issues on which Musk has grown more vocal.
