WTAF? We had measles under control until the antivaxxers started with their bullshit. This recommendation isn’t just irresponsible, it should be criminal. Measles requires a very high percentage of people to be vaccinated for herd immunity to work. It’s one of the most infectious diseases out there.

Had my quarterly visit with my medical oncologist. My blood test still shows my PSA is undetectable. He said we’ll ride that wave as long as we can. (I think that is supposed to reassure me) So no change to treatment. I’m doing well and expect to do so for a while, but I’m grateful I have today.

Steamboat Willie should’ve been in the public domain 20 years ago, but Disney lobbied Congress to extend corporate copyright. I have no doubt they will try to lobby Congress to extend it again. Copyright law locks up things to long for corporations and for individuals. Life plus 70 years for an author. And if that author was obscure or had no clear heirs, their works could be lost forever.
