Why would I want to check for a syntactically correct email-address?

Not knowimg whether the mailbox actually exists? Or the server? Or the domain?

There is only one way to validate an email address: Send an email to it and let the user interact.

But OTOH: When you validae a name by checking whether it has at least 3 characters, you are probably safe to validate that there is an "@" in the email-address....

@heiglandreas we check for something like only one @ that isn't the leading or trailing character and that's it (kinda... No line breaks etc, but you get the idea)

The makers of #BaldursGate3 really missed an opportunity by not having the NPCs react differently when your character is wandering around completely naked.

I’m so disappointed that no one says anything to indicate they think it odd you have no clothes on.
