I’m leaning more and more into RSS, and as I continue, I’m realizing I need a solution that is not NetNewsWire. It’s great, except for federated RSS feeds, in which case it’s not great (no images, no links).

What APP are you using for #RSS?

@donburnside I use Inoreader as my RSS feed aggregator and web RSS client. For mobile (iOS), I use Reeder which syncs with Inoreader very nicely.

@donburnside I’ve tried out some self hosted options as well (FreshRSS, Miniflux, CommaFeed) but I still prefer the layout and ease of use of Inoreader.

I’m hearing that multiple Ardent owned Hospitals have come under a ransomware attack. Their Epic Systems EHR (medical charting software) and Kronos HR systems seem to be affected. Anyone have any further information on the attack?

@blogoklahoma So the Chamber of Commerce is saying that a petition to force this as a state question isn't the way to do it... Uh, if it ends up as a state question and the majority of the people vote for it, then what the hell is the problem here? Seems like the legislature is subverting the will of Oklahomans if they think it would pass as a state question but don't want to vote for it in a legislative session.

Security firm Outpost24 has found a version of the LummaC2 Stealer that uses an extremely clever way of detecting sandbox environments.

The malware records mouse cursor positions and then uses trigonometry functions to detect if the cursor movement is the result of natural human interaction or if the mouse was moved using pre-determined algorithms, typically used by sandboxed environments.

With my first toot on @MonaApp I want to shout its praises. It has a paybonce but it forever price that like. It also has a 14 day free trial and you don’t have to remember to cancel a subscription. It’s a legit demo.
Beyond that this app has an amazing balance of a simple interface and deep powerful features. I love how they change the local feed to a “communities” feed where you can browse ANY instances local feed. The interface makes more sense than other apps in my opinion.

This is quite embarrassing for the board. Besides an outpouring of support for Sam Altman on Twitter/X, OpenAI's chief strategy officer emailed employees a few hours ago to reassure them that it's highly likely they'll get Sam to return as CEO.

There is an extremely high risk that OpenAI will implode if Sam decides to start a new company as many employees will leave to join him, especially as he already has support from Microsoft and lots of investors.

What a 💩 show.
