Past weekend our guest crashed my home server twice when he tried to connect his Switch to our TV :bloblaugh:

It uses an external SSD for storage and he kinda unplugged random stuff while knocking down the drive :blobderpy:

I know itโ€™s the fault of my crappy setup but still! Cโ€™mooon :flan_laugh:

Well, that was weird. I pressed play on a track in Apple Music and it sat on if for a fraction of as second and then went on to the nextโ€ฆ and the nextโ€ฆ and the next. It did this about 20 times before I quit the app. Restarted and itโ€™s all fine now. But yeesh at the Mac app.

@craiggrannell itโ€™s done that to me when im out with just the watch and try to play songs without connection & are not downloaded on device. It just runs through until it hits one thatโ€™s downloaded or gets a signal haha.

Thought maybe it was like a passenger with my aux โ€œnope, nope, nope, oh I like this oneโ€

@WTL I have a coworker that mentioned she put mustard on her bananas. Every great food at one point had to be new. So I think i'm going to have add this to my โ€œTry it and see" list haha. I'm a big fan of havarti so I might start there.

Knees are a little sore after last run. Suspect I've got shit form.

Anyone have #running tips + suggestions, particularly on proper form?

Currently running intervals 3 days a week as part of #c25k in prep for a 5k.

Iโ€™m on week 3, run 9 of couch to 5k and felt kind of stiff before the most recent run. Probably should have stretched more.

I have been trying to focus on โ€œrun as slow as you need to complete the intervalโ€, but itโ€™s felt like the steps at slower pace land harder than running with a wider stride. But lungs not there yet for keeping that longer stride haha.

Iโ€™ll double down on this โ€œendurance THEN speedโ€ for the next run, Sunday.

Honest question for white people that don't consider themselves racist:

White nationalists have been vocal about their attacks on DEI. These are literally the same people that talk about Charlottesville, Jan 6th, and ethnic cleansing.

They've laid out exactly how they plan to destroy DEI.

  1. Make false claims that DEI is about giving unqualified Black people an unfair advantage

  2. Work with racist politicians to use this as a pretext to make all DEI programs illegal.

  2. To raise it, unprompted, would feel like Iโ€™m saying thatโ€™s their relation to me: โ€œMy Black friend or coworkerโ€. That it serves as self-gratification / virtue signaling / white savior behavior to lead a charge. That itโ€™s a hollow atonement. I otherwise want my friends or coworkers to know I recognize them for who they are.
