Is it just me, or has Microsoft gone completely crazy? They are implementing spyware that takes screenshots every second and forcing AI integration. Why would anyone willingly purchase this? Anyone with experience in computer or information security knows that it is a bad idea, even if it is locally done. Just don't do it. @christianselig I'm always blown awayby how Swift is the onky programming langauge that makes any logical sense, and how it can'tbe used to make mainstream Android and Windows software -- which constitute the majority of all computers in the world... how is that even possible.

@jeffjarvis People may not know this, but LA is home to the Aryan Brotherhood street gang which is composed of neo-Nazis. Now, you'd think they'd be anti Jew but in reality they are right wing extremists and white supremicists and side with Israel.

They are also violent and lack ethics. They are probably responsible for this violence.

Wow. Dartmouth Professor Annelise Orleck was arrested and thrown to the ground by NH Police. She’s a history professor, former chair of Jewish studies, & has taught at Dartmouth for 34 years.

And now @dartmouthcollege has banned her from campus for 6 months. Absurd. Contact them and let them know you stand with Professor Orleck.

@jeffjarvis I disagree. But it doesn't matter, because all these taxes are going todo are make news companies dependent on the profits of tech companiesqnd their taxes. This gives tech companies more political power, not less.

They'll happily pay the tax. And in exchange, you have to do what they want now because they fund things.

This is why taxes aren't punishment. It's the same as being financially dependent on an abuser. You need to sever financial ties first to enforce punishment.
