I'm seeing, er- I don't want to draw any more ire toward them, but some kinda famous people hit here, and they seem to be struggling, and:

1.) If you feel like this is worse than Twitter somehow, you probably had a blue check over there and didn't realize how much it was shielding you.

2.) If not or Also, you likely forgot how much muting/blocking it took to curate Twitter down to being not a shithole. Do a LOT of muting and moving on. Block too, but same rules of "invisibly muting and ignoring them" won't trigger as much block-evasion as taunting.

3.) You can do timed-mutes here. Quietly give people timeouts. It helps a ton.

4.) Enable the advanced mode on the web client and use a client like Tusky, and then disable your favorite notifications immediately. Mute threads frequently. If you want to keep up with a thread's replies despite, bookmark it! Then just scroll down for replies later, when you're bored.

How do y'all feel about this not-so-recent trend of making in-game characters look just like their VAs?

I'm on the fence. On one hand, it's cool getting to go ooh Lance Reddick! (RIP), ooh Gina Torres, etc.

OTOH, does it limit us to character design? Or is it good to embody the IRL aesthetic of the person in-game?

What happens if a VA moves on or, for longstanding series, passes away?

Like I said, I'm on the fence. Haven't seen much conversation about it. #VideoGames #VoiceActors

@InfiniteHench As a voice actor, I don’t love it. Part of the draw of VA is being able to embody many more characters besides those who look like you (not extending this to what actors playing black characters or anything). It lets a lot of not-a-white-dude-like-me folks be eligible for roles they otherwise wouldn’t be.

However, when it comes to animating a character’s face in a convincing way, it’s gotta be easier if the character looks almost exactly like the actor, right?

If you're experiencing high memory/CPU usage from DIM recently... it's not DIM. It's the Clarity extension. Uninstall it and DIM will be back to its usual speed!

If you had Clarity installed for themes, try our beta - we've got a bunch of themes to try there. If you were using the range/reload stats, try clicking an item's name and then clicking "Foundry" - D2Foundry has lots of extended stats for items.
