I love Linux and automation. I am a former RHCE, but now I just like to do stuff with terraform, ansible, helm, kubernetes, and whatever modern technologies are required for certain solutions.

I really like cooking for my family on my flat-top grill. I make fried rice, burgers, steaks, and amazing breakfasts just to name a few.

@minenest many of my gaming related Google searches include -fandom. The advertising is intrusive and it's almost impossible to view on mobile. Half the screen is ads at times and you can't even get to the information. It's practically useless.

I used to be a huge #falcom fan until they started re-releasing games without upgrade paths for customers. I own the PS4 version of Ys 8 but if I want it for PS5 I just have to buy the whole game again. I understand Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal did a similar thing but Royal is a significant improvement while this isn't. I'm not buying Facom games anymore until they stop and fix this practice.

I've never played a Final Fantasy game & precious few RPG in general. My gaming background is mostly classic Nintendo fare from SNES through to Switch, & in PS4/5 mostly action games like Last of Us, God of War, Horizon, Tsushima etc.

So should I go "back to the start" & play the original FFVII eg on Switch/PS, or just start my Final Fantasy journey with "Remake Intergrade" on PS5. I guess I'm mostly in it for the story?

#starwars #jedisurvivor has a lot of cosmetics that unlock via gameplay instead of microtransactions which is shocking because it's an EA game. Then they add a glorious mullet + handlebar mustache making this game a strong 9.5/10 in my book. So powerful.

Why is my Xbox recommending things that I have never and would never play? They have enough data about me and they should be recommending things based on what I play and what I buy. I would never play any of this crap. I used to like Ubisoft stuff but not for many years. The rest I've never liked.

@stopthatgirl7 Thanks, I hate it lol. I still loved both and but dislike the inventory busywork. Also the vendors have limited money to buy my loot. These games are retraining our old looting habits and I don't know if I like it.

Armored Core: Fires of Rubicon is like a childhood dream come true. I used to fantasize about a game that looked and played this good with the focus on mechs and combat. No love story, No bullshit, just giant robots fighting. Fantastic.

Tried out a big of Starfield this weekend. It's interesting, but it doesn't feel as good of a game as Baldurs Gate 3 for me.

#Starfield is beautiful. It's not perfect but it's fun, and gives me awesome Mass Effect vibes. Since I don't trust EA to deliver, this suits me just fine.
