Nature is filled with beauty and also fascinating. Migrating Canada geese can fly 1,000 miles in just 24 hours, often returning to the same destination year after year.
As I sit here socked in by fog and mist, this image brightened things up. This is Echo Lake with Mt. Evans (soon to be renamed Mt. Blue Sky) as the sun had just peeked over the horizon. Taken in September 2007, this is one of my earliest digital images.
Sunrise. Quotes at the harbour. One of my favourite ones by far:
"It's true you can't live here by chance, you have to do and be, not simply watch or even describe. This is the city of action, the world headquarters of the verb".
Dawn at the Jetty. The jetty was built to protect the Hatteras Lighthouse in it's original location. The Lighthouse has since been moved further inland, however the jetty still reaches out into the Atlantic. Dawn lights up the sky with orange.
Good morning from a snowy Wyoming. I know many people don't like snow, but I love it, so come along and let's build a snowman, or how about a sled ride?
Wherever you are this morning, I hope you have a peaceful one.
