I was surprised with how many little birds I was able to spot and photograph with my 85mm lens when I was walking around Stanley Park full of snow on Wednesday. Just as I walked into the park I found this large flock of bushtits going over a tree looking for food (berries, I suppose?) and making a ruckus.
It’s snowing tiny light hail balls. Very quietly. The sky is bright but overcast. It’s too warm to stick for long unless the temperature goes down quickly.
I’d think it was snow but I can see the occasional bounce.
Noodles and sundogs and pyramids, oh my! Thank you to Q2 viewers Stacey, Sherri, Suzanne, and Bob for your great photos of our cold, beautiful weather!
It’s still far enough out to change completely, but the snow predictions for Thursday through Saturday are stressing me out. Do I cancel my Friday appointment, or do I let it ride…
I know this sounds strange to anyone not from Western Washington. There are hills everywhere. In particular, that hospital is on a hill notorious for drivers ditching cars in any amount of snow. It’s ridiculous but it’s also bad.
