#alacritty in the #debian#sid package has been sat at V0.12.2-2 for almost a year now. The latest version is stuck in the #experimental packages. I build alacritty myself using cargo crates and have had no issues with V0.13. I'm guessing it's the switch from YAML to TOML for the config that's the issue. But surely you can create a script to convert this? Poor stable is still at V0.11 :loading: .
At the #x2024#commodore64#demoscene gathering, Thomas Jansson (Tubesockor) and I did a little presentation about SidFactory 2 with support for hardware #SID based synths like the #TherapSID. By interfacing SID synths with SF2 and the excellent #DeepSID web player, you can play, edit and live remix SID music on real SID chips using your own laptop.

Ho fatto prove massive e pare funzionare tutto... In più devo dire che forse l'8580 suona un pelino meglio con il software che sfrutta la SIDcard forse perché originariamente il design si Solder prevedeva proprio un 8580... Ad ogni modo ci farò ovviamente una puntata del Vault ...ne vale la pena :)
Careful with dist-upgrade and full-upgrade right now on #Debian#sid, they are upgrading to 64 bit time, which means all their packages are being rebuilt. A side effect is that it uninstalls a bunch of packages.
To upgrade during the transition, aptitude seems to do a great job at sorting things properly.
@tripplehelix have had similar issues on #Debian#Sid, got task--desktop and by that a bunch of other packages removed by "apt-get dist-upgrade" here. apt seems to unable to resolve the time_t transition properly. aptitude however was able to find proper solutions for transitioning the libraries to their new libt64 variant. Could fix the system with that and reinstall task-*-desktop etc. Now "apt-get" seems to work as expected again.
