Algunos me preguntáis cómo hacer para mantener la armonía con las comunidades existentes en :mastodon:, así que aquí va una serie de #consejos para cuidar la convivencia:
Usen #etiquetas relevantes para clasificar sus publicaciones y no censuren ningún término, para que los filtros funcionen correctamente.
Si publican en un idioma distinto al idioma de la aplicación, cambien el idioma por defecto de sus publicaciones para que las traducciones a otro idioma funcionen bien (ver imagen 1 para web y 2-4 para app oficial).

Si publican muy de seguido, es recomendable que ajusten la visibilidad por defecto de sus publicaciones a "no listada" para no saturar las líneas de tiempo públicas (ver imagen 1 para web y 2-3 para Moshidon).
Añadan texto alternativo a sus imágenes,. Aquí hay muchas personas con dificultades de visión que lo necesitan para saber de qué estáis hablando.

It seems I haven't seen the "netiquette" portmanteau in years. Is 'net passé?
It's now apps; ne pas? I suppose "appliquette" is too much like "appliqué." If we apply ourselves we can stick a better name on good behavior via social media. An obvious choice sounds rude, making it a perfect descriptor for many spaces... just, "socquette."
Bei klar faschististischen oder rassistischen Äußerungen gibt es ggf. auch Sofortmaßnahmen, die eine Meldung und einen sofortigen Block nach sich ziehen.
Ich hatte die letzten Monate kaum noch Schwierigkeiten. Es wirkt. 😀
Das Stummschalten/Blockieren/Sperren von Accounts auf #Mastodon ist für mich ein essentielles Feature. Es gibt auch auf Mastodon bzw. im #Fediverse Menschen ohne Anstand. Diskutiere nicht lange mit Trollen, Hatern, Nazis und respektlosen Menschen. Das ist Zeitverschwendung. Tut euch das nicht an. Dafür ist das Leben zu kurz. Schenkt eure Zeit denen, die euch mit Respekt behandeln - auch wenn sie anderer Meinung sind.
Je dois être un terrible pinailleur pour être agacé de voir les excuses de nextcloud dans un « nouveau fil » de pouet et non en réponse au sondage qui a fait grand bruit (merci à @juliemoynat en passant).
Ça m’agace autant que de voir des gens démarrer un nouveau sujet sur une liste de diffusion en répondant à un message (qui n’a donc rien à voir).
En fait, c’est un peu comme écrire un pouet avec un lien vers un autre pour le commenter.
Dans ma tête, ça sonne comme une pratique pour ne pas « avertir » l’auteur du pouet en question et parler dans son dos.
Ma pratique à moi que j’ai (mais je vous la prête hein si vous demandez gentiment), c’est de partager le pouet original et d’y répondre dans la foulée (bon, des fois, il m’arrive de répondre avant de partager, j’avoue).
Unless you know the author, assume the author does not benefit from knowing the opinion of a stranger (you).
Trolling is the act of creating awareness of disagreement without creating a context for constructive engagement and without a willingness to engage in good faith discussion and an assumption of best intent.
If you do not have the emotional energy to engage in this way, wait to respond until you do or ask someone else to intervene.
If you see someone link to a source you do not like, there is a constructive way to let them know.

You are right to be concerned about unqualified comments. The mere number of new users, all unaware of #Mastodon#netiquette, that is coming to the #Fediverse through #Threads constitutes a cultural shock. I call them, therefore, the #MetaHordes, likening them to the #Hun invasion of the 7th century.
We had a discussion about this with @2ndStar that you might find useful, as well as detailed instructions on how to #BlockMeta.
Fange an, Typen, die ungefragt unter Tröts auftauchen und in unverschämten Tonfall wegen fehlender BU/Bildbeschreibung zu pöbeln ("Du solltest lernen …") zu blocken.
Das Anliegen mag richtig sein, Höflichkeit und Kinderstube ist wichtiger. Benehmt Euch. Wheatons Gesetz ist universell.
Und nochwas, nachdem ich als hochgradig Kurzsichtiger zur Zielgruppe, für die BU/Bildbeschreibungen gedacht sind, gehöre:
Du bist kein Ally, wenn Du die Leute, mit denen ich interagieren will, vertreibst, weil Du Dich wie offene Hose benimmst. Im Zweifel bitte ich selbst um ne Bildbeschreibung, ich kann das nämlich mit "Könntest Du bitte für mich …" und so, nicht nur von Oben herab.
@jaztrophysicist ditto. I wish the default in social media (or any written media) were curiosity and not judgement. Asking questions or reporting issues, instead of attack, or suspicion, or blame, or drama. #netiquette

I am floored and fascinated by the near-literary quality of many of the descriptions of images that people carefully craft when appending pictures to their posts on Mastodon. Some of them will reveal a detail that had escaped my attention. Others will help me understand a subtle joke I had missed. Others still are true poems. ALT are their own microblogging world that reveals itself as you hover on a picture. And I hover, and hover.
