Ehem, new favorite finished object... This is Isabell Kraemer's Fjolla which I made with short sleeves. The yarn is Knitting For Olive Pure Silk. The third skein was of a different dye lot so I made sure I alternated skeins. Altogether a very satisfying finish for me. #knittersofmastodon #IKnitWhatIWear
When you start a colorwork sweater with fingering-weight yarn, you have to relax into the mindset of: “I will be knitting this sweater for the next thousand years, and that’s okay 😌”

There's an interesting research survey (yes with IRB and you can preview the entire survey before starting) about accessibility and crafting. I follow the investigator on Instagram.
A moment of silence for this gorgeous 1/3 of a sweater that I’m about to rip out.
I love everything about this fabric, but I was attempting to reconstruct a pattern that no longer exists, and I’m no longer this size. It will never be finished, and I couldn’t wear it if I did finish it.
Just a few more rows until I put the sleeve stitches on hold. I don’t usually make top-down sweaters, but this one is working up nicely. I changed pattern to rolled neckline.
The WIP that's been taking all my time after I cast it on this new year
Ever since we came back from Korea, I was determined to knit my husband a new sweater. He's worn the first (and only) long-sleeved sweater I made for him and he consistently remarked he wished it had pockets. Well, far be it for me to disappoint, I'm doggedly making Tea with Bread and Jam by Heidi Kirrmaier while the temps here are not yet oven-level. I will make the pockets deeper. #knitting#knittersofmastodon
Started another pair of #socks In case you’re wondering, I joined a sock #yarn of the month club this year. Now that we’re ending the year, I thought it was time to start #knitting 🤣🤣
