For most of these options, you can export your YouTube subscriptions at https://takeout.google.com and can import them into them.
Auch deswegen nutze ich YouTube nicht direkt, sondern Links über @invidious* oder nutze es mobil via @newpipe*, um Videos zu sehen und so weit frei vom Tracking zu sein. Leider sind noch nicht sehr viele anregende Videoproduktionen im Fediverse zB auf @peertube vertreten.
Apropos #Invidious auch dafür gibt es eine App im F-Droid #Clipious . Damit kann man sich unter #Android mit seiner eigenen Instanz oder anderen öffentlichen Instanzen verbinden. Über die Einstellungen sogar bequem wechseln

Last days, I improved a bit PeerTube Companion, the Web #Extension helping you to know when a video you're watching on #YouTube is also available on #PeerTube.
Last versions improved compatibility with #Invidious and #Piped, added the ability to get redirected in more situations, and provided a new Notification mode.
This mode notifies you when there is a video instead of directly redirecting you to PeerTube.
Quick tip for any budding #FOSS#OpenSource projects out there looking to gain some legitimacy and trust ...use non-corporate tools/channels whenever possible.
Don't force your followers/communities on to #GAFAM or other walled gardens.
At the very least, mirror your communications on the open internet.
A differenza di molti altri siti #invidious sono presenti funzioni essenziali come i sottotitoli o la risoluzione di default che ora è presente fino a 4K per chi ha grandi monitor.

Have y'all ever tried #FreeTube ? I started using it when youtube stopped showing video recommendations to those who keep their watch history disabled (which is my case) and ngl it's a very nice YouTube frontend that also works with #Invidious , for my phone I use #NewPipe and #InnerTune
Hier hat mir vor einiger Zeit mal jemand Bzgl. #Docker und #Invidious geholfen. Wer war denn das? Ich brauch da nochmal Hilfe (hab grad wieder frisch installiert).
Since #YouTube decided it's ok to inject malware to our browsers, I will not hesitate to use their infrastructure as a public service.
As luck would have it, @stfn posted yesterday a guide to #Invidious which I followed and in no time had an instance running.
It's not bad. YT doesn't serve 1080p video to third party apps, from what I understand, but I can live with that. I prefer controlling my viewing experience and not participating in their surveillance.
Może zauważyliście, że yt.elonego.com przestał ładować wideoski. To kolejna blokada ze strony wiadomo kogo ;)
Tym razem trochę trudniejsza do obejścia, może mi zająć chwilę przywrócenie funkcjonalności.
Spodziewajcie się jutro, może pojutrze rozwiązania tego "problemu" :)
Ze swojej strony nie musicie nic robić, jeśli nie "pali się" i możecie poczekać, "samo" wróci do działania gdy się uporam z postawieniem nowej maszyny.
W przeciwnym przypadku możecie wyedytować tootki wstawiając inną instancję #Invidious w adres wideo, taką, która już obeszła problem.
