One of the things that #cycling in a city that was absolutely not designed to make it safe that I've come to appreciate is the way it's led me to find alternate routes. My standard commute leads me through sleepy streets and gorgeous ravines. It feels like being invited into a semi-secret city that most, if aware of it at all, certainly don't get to experience on a daily basis. #BikeTooter#BikeTO

Pal tried to make me ride home with the claws but the problem would have been that you can't brake or shift gears with the claws. An onlooker tried to assist with safety by telling me that my rear light was covered by my tail. I calmed their fear by stating that I'd simply ride fast enough that the tail would lift to expose my light.
