I grew Chinese Lanterns one year. Had no idea how much of your garden they can take over. When they faded, their beautiful skeletons looked like magic lanterns to me.

When the sun sets, its light becomes warmer and the tones turn redder. A sense of peace prevails, especially when the reflections kiss the water, illuminating even more and highlighting the colorful buildings around. It would be nice if all of us, without exception, stopped fighting our daily battles and paused, at least for a few minutes, to listen to the silence of the sun as it kisses our skin at sunset. If someone you follow brings you value, take the time to let them know, and do it often. This act of kindness and appreciation has value all on its own, but it also has added importance because there are legions of hurt and hateful people that don't hesitate to try and regularly tear them down. It would be a shame if those hateful and hurtful voices were the only ones the people that we valued ever heard.
