One clear sign of how ignorant and immature the college protesters are is how they all don't seem to want to be held accountable for the crimes they committed.
I wish that our U.S. campuses would at least still assign students to read MLK's Letter from a Birmingham jail, and Thoreau's essay on Civil Disobedience.
I think these protesters have failed the guidelines of: collection of the facts to determine whether injustices exist; negotiation; self-purification; and effective direct action.
...special treatment needs to STOP, too, in particular when it comes to international law. The ICJ case must move forward.
Also, discriminating against part of the native population on the basis of race, ethnicity, or creed within its borders IS #apartheid clearly in violation of all (Western) democratic principles that are incompatible with a modern democracy.
Of course, the professor also makes biased argumentative mistakes,...
Earlier today, Israeli settlers launched an attack on the #UNRWA headquarters in occupied #Jerusalem, setting fire to its surroundings. Israeli authorities have not intervened or made any arrests among the Israeli attackers.
This podcast is good at making #history easier to digest, if you're interested--
Up this week is Zionism, Zionist #propaganda, Balfour, the guy chosen to mess up Palestine, who had previously wreaked havoc in Ireland and denied entry to Jews fleeing the holocaust who were hoping to find refuge in the UK. And Herzl &more stuff.
1/3 Inaccuracies of the #NYT story ('ScreamsWithoutWords) and Sheryl Sandberg's new ridiculous hoax movie effort based on the shoddy, unsupported, unretracted mass r@pe NYT story. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C6lcwepx4Nw/
This debunking is important since US audiences are primed to believe Palestinians are guilty of everything being suggested or done to them and more. (Sound familiar? #Superpredators, anyone?)
1/2 🎧5-4 supreme court podcast on the anti- genocide campus protests and free speech - lawyers talking about laws.
One of the hosts or creators of the pod, who also got arrested at one of the protests, tells exactly how it happened. Absolutely wild. They discuss campus events first and mostly, the law as it relates (and doesn't) .

A guy the police told to disperse the protesters did as requested, turned around to tell cops he told the crowd and was tackled to the ground like he'd tried to take their gun or something.
Riannon was zip tied - one LEO asked what's she arrested for and another LEO calls back he "heard" she was fighting. Later the scene repeated and it was unlawful assembly or something. Entirely arbitrary.
Ma'ariv newspaper describes the situation as: There is a new prime minister in “Israel”.
They add that in practice, Benjamin Netanyahu has become the servant of his master, Itamar #BenGvir, and this raises the obvious question: To what extent has Netanyahu deteriorated?
National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir appeared in front of the cameras a few days ago while leaving the Prime Minister’s Office, acting Prime Minister, and announced in an unambiguous tone: “I warned the Prime Minister that we will not enter #Rafah, nor will there is an illegal deal.
The Prime Minister heard the words, and promised that "Israel" would enter Rafah, and promised that the war would continue, and promised that there would be no illegal deal.
These words and tone of voice leave no room for doubt in the heart of every listener. There is a new prime minister in the State of #Israel.
This raises the obvious question: To what extent has Netanyahu deteriorated? It has reached the point where even a response from a prime minister, in order to preserve his dignity, is not uttered.
Netanyahu, despite thousands of disagreements, knows what the majority of the people want: the release of detainees, and he also knows what is important and useful to the people.
But he follows Ben Gvir and Bezalel #Smotrich, because that is what is good politically for Netanyahu for obvious reasons.
The Israeli military have started it's ground offensive against Rafah by the border of Egypt by air, artillery and tanks.
There are reports of heavy bombings and classes by the border, with no reaction from the Egyptian military despite loud warning about such acts just a few weeks ago.
