I have many interests, but music is probably the biggest one. I like to listen to uplifting #jpop, extreme #metal and everything in between. Favorites are #乃木坂46, #Watain, #OrbitCulture, #LornaShore.
I also like to post about #fashion related things, including the occasional #ootd. :bd05:
I'm into games as well, both #videogames and #Tabletopgames~ I don't care about genre, only about quality. :bd20:
To be able to afford all this good stuff, I develop websites and #vr applications for a living.
Do you miss going to the arcade and playing pinball? Have you ever longed to have your very own pinball machine? Do you need something to occupy kids on, say, bad air quality days when going outside is hazardous? Well have I got the kickstarter for YOU!!
My former roommate and good friend Ben T. Matchstick of the Cardboard Teck Instantute has been creating low-impact (environmentally speaking) games and toys for kids for years. Now he's got collaborators, a 3D printing machine, and is looking for backers to purchase an automated paper cutter so they can better mass-produce these small-scale but fully functional, colorful, fun, made-of-cardboard pinball machines! Please, spread widely even if you aren't going to back the project.
Welcome folkes new to Mastodon, especially #authodons and those into #BoardGames! Follow #hashtags, pick out the interesting accounts and add them to your follow list.
I can’t get over how adorable these mini playing card decks are. In about 2 weeks I launch a Kickstarter campaign to fund 2 sets of decks in standard & mini sizes. Scroll back a little bit to see photos of the other deck!
Last update for my latest board game before I put it in front of real people to play test. I'll do one more soloist to check if it all works, then do a full revision of the rules. These are in note form only, but it's handy to have them written out so I don't miss anything during the teach.
This is it everyone, the night I finally beat Geppetto with Charlie. I'm on the back porch, with great weather, great music in my earbuds, and a Mnt Dew Melon Zero Sugar. If the stars aren't aligning tonight, I don't know if they ever will.
Tell me all about your #FridayFinds! What cool #TabletopGames and #TTRPGs have you discovered or played for the first time recently? What do you like about them? What drew you to them?
Magic: The Gathering has come a long way since it debuted at Gen Con in 1993. Last year, it became a billion-dollar brand. The genius behind it, mathematician Richard Garfield, left Wizards of the Coast, Magic's publisher, shortly after it was sold to Hasbro in 1999 and has subsequently expressed an apparent disillusionment with what the game has become. Defector's Nick Zarzycki interviewed him about this, his perception of the existential threats to Magic, and why he left the company. [Story may be paywalled]
I never ever ever win at Dominion, although I always have fun regardless. But tonight, I crushed my opponents so thoroughly that they aren’t going to ever let me use the strategy I used again. #BoardGames#TabletopGames
Tried my hand at another game of #TinyEpicDinosaurs but this time used a more balanced solo variant from the BGG forums and it was much more enjoyable. I won by 5 but never felt like I was running away with the game.
Stuffed up my print run yesterday, so now I have to drive all the way into Launceston and get it done again. Entirely my fault, but very frustrating. How long does it take you to get anywhere from where you live? About forty minutes? Less?
