Cory explains why earlier in the piece. The implication is that a socialist society can have rents and profits, as long as wages reliably trump both in their share of the income of business.
"Meta, the global behemoth that owns Facebook and Instagram, is putting a stranglehold on recommendations in user feeds that contain political content.
The move, signalled in February, applies to Instagram and Threads, and will eventually extend to Facebook."

Link at end, There are some fantastic podcast audiobooks out there. Better still, these are free, and you don't need a subscription! Just put the RSS feed into your favorite podcast app. I listen to more audio fiction than watch shows on streaming because a lot of these indie creators are trying new things and I love exploring! To get you started, here's a few collections https://www.theend.fyi/collections@bookstodon#Books#Audiobooks@audiobooks
3 more links are below! Anytime! If you wanna check out some featured stuff by the End creator, here is the featured page, but this website tracks fiction podcasts that either start new seasons or ended seasons or ended shows, like, completed shows. https://www.theend.fyi/recommended-audio-fiction
And if you are looking for more podcast audiobook type stuff, not audio dramas, but narrations of work, also check out the below category on the audio dramas directory. Trust me, this has saved me some credits on Audible!
The two presenters, the rebel queens, are full of enthusiasm for female criminals. They talk about "lawless women" in an almost excited and cheerful way. I have to admit that I enjoy listening to them. Be careful, not all the women discussed in this podcast are heroes or victims who resist. Some women are simply violent.
Plenty of cover versions in this visit Doing the covers are Thelma Houston, The Feelies, David Lindley ,Chris Isaak, Ry Cooder and songs from some other artists
Some excellent kid safe and also informative podcasts in the list at the linked article. I’d say though they are not just for long trips in the car, as it is actually a good habit to listen to focussed and informative topics at any time. Much of my ...continues
Murder and resistance to inequality in the Victorian era: “Lady Killers” https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/brand/m0016pq3
This BBC podcast discusses crimes committed by women in the 19th and 20th centuries from a contemporary feminist perspective. These are often biographies of women who resisted and/or committed murder out of necessity. It is worth listening to all thirty episodes.
Please, #bookstodon and everyone else , recommend your very favorite books and other #information to me. I'll read anything, audio or ebook or maybe even paper #book, #website or recurring graphics or whatever.

Mijn nieuwste podcastrecensie:
"Queere piraten en moordenaressen: podcasts over misdadige vrouwen"
I think I’m caught in an A/B test or something. For the first time, I was unable to watch a #YouTube video unless I was logged in. This wasn’t the comments section, this wasn’t a search result page, I honestly could not watch the video until I logged in to Google. After about 20 minutes, I was able to watch it without an account, but I strongly suspect that this will become a requirement in the future so creators really should be looking at other services like #Peertube or, better yet, make a video podcast. You can watch video podcasts in your podcast app and you can still see the video. Video podcasts can be played on smart Tvs too. My prediction based off my own experience and with what just happened, I think, at some point, YouTube is going to require everybody pay a subscription to access YouTube videos and I can guarantee you that your viewer count is going to plummit if this happens so make an exit plan now. #Podcasts#Podcast
There are parallels between super foods, trendy ethnic foods and the wellness industry:
“It is no accident that (sexy trendy super foods) are usually from the Global South. Where, may not matter. The idea that the food should be from somewhere that is ‘elsewhere’, an elsewhere that is somehow ‘less’ and therefore exploitable is crucial”
The show also says it’s a new form of Orientalist spice trade, but you don’t even know where it comes from anymore
