Une question juridico-éthique : mon ado a décidé de travailler en job d'été en juillet-aout (Hallelujah!). Son employeur potentiel (#McDo pour ne pas le nommer) lui refuse un #CDD / CDD #saisonnier et lui propose uniquement un #CDI en disant "quand vous n'êtes plus disponible, vous n'avez qu'à démissionner.".

Il a spécifiquement demandé un CDD saisonnier ou une inscription dans la boîte d'intérim à laquelle ils pourraient faire appel, ce que McDo a refusé. "Je propose un CDI, à prendre ou à laisser. Dèsque tu reprends les cours, tu nous envoies ta démission" lui a-t-on dit par téléphone, en réponse (orale) à son mail (écrit) ... c'est pas ce que j'appelle des pratiques bien clean. 🧐
Le débat "merde ultra capitaliste" est louable et je le soutiens, mais hors sujet pour le moment 😉
J'explique un autre truc important : ce n'est pas l'employé·e qui décide comment ça va se passer.
C'est l'entreprise qui propose des contrats.
Et il n'y a RIEN de « pas clair » ni d'illégal dans la démarche que vous présentez.
(Vu que ce n'est pas l'entreprise qui propose la démarche, elle ne fait que répondre à une demande).
Enfin, pour être plus précis : l'entreprise devrait répondre : « Nous ne faisons pas de CDD ni d'intérim, car nous recherchons uniquement des collaborateurs·trices qui restent en CDI. Au revoir et bonne réussite dans votre recherche. »
(ou tout autre chose de sérieux, mais les gens sont idiots et incompétents).

This situation applies to the schools your children are being educated at if you are a parent of one of the 72 per cent of primary students or 66 per cent of secondary pupils who goes to a public school.
We want the public education system fixed. We want it fixed for the benefit of teachers, principals and above all for students. This is the first stop work action teachers have taken in over a decade. That’s how serious the situation has become for our members.
The SSTUWA’s community research suggests over 80 per cent of WA voters agree that all children deserve a quality education.
We agree too and that requires better salaries and working conditions for teachers and principals.
