Reading a Manga for once again. Delicious Dungeon is fun. Marcielles Faces she makes are very fun to see.
I could see though the series getting a bit stale if you read too much of it at once, each chapter being a "dish of the week" for now. So for now its best for me to read bite-sized chunks of it. The characters and premise are fun so far though.
I will likely read one volume and then change pace with something else.
Survival, by Takao Saito is a #manga about a kid fighting against the elements, after most of Japan—and the world—gets overtaken by earthquakes and floods, having it all plunged by the ocean.
This read is amazing so far, and it was written in the late 70s! It holds up really well and the art is really good. It feels like a classic, because it is—and I'm loving it.
As you watch #anime or read #manga find the week's specified item/concept and then share a screenshot/picture with everyone using the hashtag #AnimangaFoundIt
I guess I will do it once again, and what a better way to start it than by doing a #MonthlySummary, of course? This month was full of #gaming, #movies, #manga and other media. So, yeah. This is day 1 of #100DaysToOffload
With Tachiyomi shutting down, I guess I will be forced to either use a fork or just use the Komga web app to read my manga. Tachiyomi is one of the best designed apps I've ever used, and I will sincerely miss it. #tachiyomi#manga
I made this cute little icon for Moga, an app for accessing the comic reading website MangaDex. Curry (the developer's cat) features across the platform sleeping on buttons, and cheerfully chewing books!
#QuestionOfTheDay: We all know popular things that don't need a remake get remade, but what's something that wasn't popular/successful and/or was badly executed but had a great concept that you'd like to see get a remake?
Well, the last few pages of the Mashle Manga seemed a bit... rushed? Compared to the last battle that dragged on a lot at times. I would have preferred at least one or two more chapters to show the aftermath. All in all, a good Manga (that felt surprisingly boring at some parts). #Manga#Mashle
Oh, and I'm just talking about the last pages. The last chapter itself has done a good job to finish the Manga. The part after the big fight was just a delicious cream puff that was missing a bit of its filling.
Once again I wanted to show off the skills I've honed using the manga tools in Clip Studio Paint. It was just a thing several of my friends and I "wanted to learn eventually" so I'm still trying to make better and better comics day by day.
For these I was pleased with myself for transcribing dialogue presented cardboard cut-out style from the game into manga form.
#ShojoNull is a new #robot#manga from #ShonenJump, and boy is it a ride! Like, imagine if Jiminy Cricket had allowed Pinocchio to go on a murder spree kind of ride.
The Somali manga was CANCELLED during covid, while the anime was still running, and the mangaka is in financial trouble. All the details on Youtube, including her crowdfunding to tide her over as she moves on to a new office and write a new manga.
I read the #FourSwords manga today, and, as always, the team of Akira Himekawa crushed it.
The art fit with the series and game style well. The story was well told and kept me engaged without skipping major game plot points. And now I know what happened in a game l skipped.
If you, like me, like the Zelda mythos and world setting but don't care for the games, I definitely recommend checking any of the Himekawa made manga.
I still buy some physical manga. Chiefly things I started in physical or things I really love. (Otherside Picnic and Inori-sensei (I'm in love with the Villainess etc.)) Just got my mid-summer shipment. All yuri of course.
I buy from an independent bookstore (So should you!) Mine is Powell Books. Just be careful if it's online it's not a front for Amazon they are actually behind a lot of what appear to be independent venders.
#QuestionOfTheDay: I love top 10 lists, I like the subjectivity, I like the arguments, I like comparing apples to oranges, and I just like seeing people try to rank things cuz it's fun!
So for today's question: what's your video game, anime, or manga top 10 of whatever criteria you choose?
It can be basic (top 10 best RPGs, top 10 favorite anime, top 10 saddest manga) or it can be esoteric & oddly specific (top 10 best hats in a character creator, top 10 anime moments involving orange catgirls, top 10 weirdest odd-numbered manga pages), whatever you want!
This is your chance to tell us all about what you love :3
It's very fun, and the latest arc (yes I am already only 4 chapters behind) seems like its gonna be insane. And I already thought the previous one was crazy enough, it got very close to the dark fantasy of stuff like #Claymore, but it still is quite lighthearted, nostalgic and wholesome.

So, I finally read the final volume of the manga Run on Your New Legs. For those unfamiliar (which is likely a lot of folks), it's a sports manga about a teenager (Kikuzato) who was a soccer star in middle school. However, tragedy struck and he lost most of his left leg.
The series then follows Kikuzato as he realizes he can get back into sports through running with a blade style prosthetic. This is aided by a local prosthetist who has been looking to try out some of his new running models.
