Optisch gefällt's mir gut & auch die Charaktere sind bisher sehr lieb & wirken nicht nur zweidimensional. Der Plot ist typisch für einen Shojo, aber ich find's auch erfrischend.
Besser als der erste Band. Es gibt ein wenig Action und auch viel weniger "Mädchenkram". Die Charaktere entwickeln sich auch so langsam, aber es wirkt ein bisschen erzwungen an manchen Stellen. Ein Band noch. Mal sehen, wie es ausgeht.
Mmmh, bisher reizt mich der Manga noch nicht so. Die Charaktere sind etwas flach und der Plot bisher noch nicht so fesselnd. Aber vielleicht ändert sich das noch 🤔
Okay, mit dem Ende hab ich mal absolut nicht gerechnet. Auch nicht mit dem Twist zwischendurch. War erstmal kurz verwirrt. Hat sich dann aber gelegt.
Bin etwas unsicher, wie ich die Reihe finde. Das Ende passt an sich ganz gut, aber irgendwie lässt mich das ganze etwas unzufrieden zurück. Kann es nur nicht gut beschreiben 🤔

Interessante Idee. Mir gefällt das eher ernstere Thema. Was nicht so gefällt: das ständige "pi" 😬 der Lesefluss gerät dadurch ins Stocken. Optisch ein bisschen gewöhnungsbedürftig, passt aber zum Setting.

Extrem atmosphärisch & der Plot hatte nochmal einen Twist. Mir ging's kurz vor Schluss dann ein klein wenig zu schnell, aber das Ende ist sehr schön & passend.
Insgesamt mag ich die Charaktere ganz gern & auch die Story ist interessant.

I did this for an Anime Iowa art showcase, iirc. I swore off the con after my first and only booth but I entered this showcase. I wasn't...expecting much, but it would have been nice to get something, if it did. Maybe like some comments getting back to me or something but that never happened.
Instead, most of the prizes ended up going to one person 🤣 It got to the point where even the forums got in a little tickle discussion about it...I remember folks pointing out the oddity of one person winning almost everything, and asking for reasons. I could have guessed myself based on my own experience, but it was nice to see I wasn't alone in feeling blah about the whole thing.
I don't remember if the showcase happened again, since I stopped paying attention to anything Anime Iowa after that ^^;

Ich mag das Zusammenspiel aus blutigen Szenen und der Atmosphäre, die die Zeichnungen wiederspiegeln. Die Story schreitet dem Höhepunkt entgegen.
Richtig nice! Optisch ne Wucht und auch die Story mit den "menschlichen Vampiren" find ich sehr interessant. Im ersten Band passiert schon recht viel, aber gleichzeitig wirkt es auch, als lebe man schon länger in der Story und wäre nichts gewesen.
Manga Review: Bocchi the Rock Vols 1-2, Team Edition
The average anime cour adapts 4-6 volumes of manga; Bocchi the Rock adapts 1.5. Yes, you read that right, one and a half volumes ONLY! Clearly, something unusual is going on with this 4-koma manga.

Five stars: Delicious in Dungeon, Volume 9 by Ryoko Kui and Taylor Engel (Translator) (2020) mostly deals with the party trying to survive an attack by succubi. The cat character ends up being the one to save the party because she's not as simple a being as the others. She's complex because she has more than one type of desire and they are in opposition to each other.
Hahaha, im letzten Band musste ich dann doch noch ziemlich lachen und grinsen. Nanase haut da ein paar Dinge raus.. 😂
Sehr niedlicher, aber auch recht harmloser Abschluss - hatte mir durch das Sugar-Dating ein bisschen mehr vorgestellt. Tut dem ganzen an sich aber keinen Abbruch und ist in sich sehr stimmig.
Für Zwischendurch ein süßer, leichter Shojo. 💖
Das Drama geht in die nächste Runde und fiebert seinem Höhepunkt entgegen. Doch dann gibt's einen anderen Vorfall, der unsere Rivalin in ein etwas anderes Licht rückt. Nett ist sie aber dennoch nicht unbedingt.
Nanase und Shimazaki werden sich langsam ihrer Gefühle bewusst und zum Schluss haut er dann noch eine riesen Sache raus!
