If today’s “grow or perish” #capitalism is good for #innovation, how come that most of the exponential innovation in #computer technology (in #hardware) depends on a #German foundation which has in its rules to secure the right of the employees and to advance the craft — but not #economic growth?
📌 Industrial robots today are programmed to perform specific and repetitive tasks, which limits their versatility; to make them perform different actions, they need to be reprogrammed by a person.
Innovation is dead. In its place, companies just add internet connectivity and voice control in places it’s absolutely not needed so they can pretend extracting data and profit is the same as progress. No one needs a “smart” bidet.
