Goddammit season 2 of Foundations is great. I'm annoyed at the end of every episode because it's the end of the episode. Only one more to go, and the suspense is killing me. Please don't let it be another two years until the continuation!

I'm finally watching the Foundation series on AppleTV. I'm really enjoying it. Although I suck at reading fiction its making me want to read the books. However the CW is that the series is not much like the books. So I wonder how much I'd actually enjoy them. #Foundation#scifi#fiction#IsaacAsimov
Started watching Foundation yesterday (finally). It's too early to say whether I like it, although the first two episodes were excellent.
I have to say, though, the 4K HDR version of it is superb. I watched it late, and turned off all lights, and got that cinema-like experience. The production quality and streaming quality of it is among the best I've seen, and it looks amazing on my TV.
I've been watching #Foundation on #AppleTV since is started. I like it, including the very slow burn first season.
But, the last to episodes of this season were WILD. I can't recall a TV show making such a sudden migration into such great storytelling late in its second season.
The series is officially underrated at this point. Very much worth a watch.

I mean, it's visually stunning. But the story's a royal (ha!) mess. The entire Cleon / Demerzel thing is weird. I may watch episode 6, but I don't know if I can hold on much longer.
So the #Foundation TV series has clone emperors I guess - I don't remember that from the #books, was it in there and I just forgot? It's been decades and I didn't love em so I'm not sure. If not, they probably yoinked that idea from The Incal, which is fine, might as well steal from the best!
I never found the Foundation books compelling, so I'm a bad judge of them compared to the books. I do wonder what people who really love them think about all the changes to the books, like right off the bat.
I only just recently watched season one of #Foundation. I was not expecting how good this would be. I, like others have said, didn't expect Apple to do Asimov well, but as far as the shows goes, it stands on its own. I still need to watch season two. It is a quite remarkable show and probably doesn't get enough attention. #SciFi#ScienceFiction

Who else is hate-watching #Foundation? It’s not just disappointingly bad, it’s insultingly bad. What a waste of acting talent, source material, and CGI pizzazz.

As I’ve been progressing through the #Rama series, it hasn’t been aging as well. I still say that the guts of Rama is a better story than #Foundation, but some of the idiosyncrasies in the story are a bit cringe by the time you’re in book 3.
