I don't know whether this is good or bad. I'm sure some "simple" people will be vying for your attention because of it. You can still proceed in the Fediverse as before.
«Bluesky and Mastodon users can now talk to each other with Bridgy Fed»
— by @TechCrunch
People on ActivityPub-powered platforms like Mastodon, and Bluesky, which uses the AT Protocol, can now follow each other, see posts, like, reply, and repost them, thanks to the work of @snarfed.org@snarfed.org, creator of Bridgy Fed. @Sarahp interviewed him for Tech Crunch about the future of bridging networks, how to bridge your account from the fediverse to Bluesky, and what to expect when you do.
Listening to Shu Yang Li, Alene Hahle and Kambale Musavuli at #pubconf24 I see that there are way bigger problems than the ones we are trying to solve in hosting the #Fediverse and making it better.
However, I do see things like #Mastodon#Pixelfed and #Loops as a solution to a lot of the problems they are showing.
So I often use a Counting Bot for my Discord servers I'm in... Do you think it is possible to create a counting game (going from 1 upwards) where each user can not count multiple times in a row, on the Fediverse?
Tomorrow I'll be participating in a webinar on #privacy and the #fediverse organized by Privacy Laws and Business. I think it's an important issue -- I hope we spend more time talking about this topic.
#LudzieKtórzy wiecznie narzekają na korpo-media (przez niektórych dla zmyłki nazywane social media), a jak wspominam o #Mastodon.ie lub #Fediverse machają ręką i patrzą na mnie jak na kosmitę 👾
