idea:

Pick a month and challenge myself to blog every time I feel like writing a random post.

I'll even create a script as an alternative to my tootme (https://codeberg.org/rldane/scripts/src/branch/main/tootme) script to create a blog post, and call it "blogme" (and alias tootme to blogme for that month.

WHO IS WITH ME?!? :D
(Read: Who is willing to verbally kick my butt if they see me not doing what I set out to do?)

I don't know whether this is good or bad. I'm sure some "simple" people will be vying for your attention because of it. You can still proceed in the Fediverse as before.

People on ActivityPub-powered platforms like Mastodon, and Bluesky, which uses the AT Protocol, can now follow each other, see posts, like, reply, and repost them, thanks to the work of @snarfed.org@snarfed.org, creator of Bridgy Fed. @Sarahp interviewed him for Tech Crunch about the future of bridging networks, how to bridge your account from the fediverse to Bluesky, and what to expect when you do.

I'm getting a bit fed up with people stating or implying that on the is hard: it is not!

What is hard is to get more people joining the Fediverse.

Happy Thursday

How are we all feeling today and what are the plans?

For me, it's the usual work day but luckily I'm all caught up from yesterday, so it's back to normal in the inbox. No meetings today either.

Later, it'll be more of the Destiny 2: The Final Shape legendary campaign that I started last night, and then just resting and relaxing.

Listening to Shu Yang Li, Alene Hahle and Kambale Musavuli at I see that there are way bigger problems than the ones we are trying to solve in hosting the and making it better.

However, I do see things like and as a solution to a lot of the problems they are showing.

をブリッジするBridgy Fedというものがあるそう

FediverseのアカウントをBlueSkyに見せるには @bsky.brid.gy@bsky.brid.gy をフォローするだけ
そうするとアカウントが@nogajun@mastodon.socialだとすると、Blueskyからは@nogajun.mastodon.social.ap.brid.gyでフォローできるそう(@に変えてます)

So I often use a Counting Bot for my Discord servers I'm in... Do you think it is possible to create a counting game (going from 1 upwards) where each user can not count multiple times in a row, on the Fediverse?

Is there a Comment chain limit?

Since I am maybe the only repository in the #fediverse ?!

Right now more than 4000 people somehow related to libraries are meeting in #Hamburg for #bibliocon24.
Something I‘d like to share with #openrepos2024 : @Bibliothecaris gave a convincing talk today why #OpenScience requires Open Communcation.
