#BestOf2023: At least 55 Texans were killed between 2015 and 2021 in domestic violence incidents by people who were or had previously been subject to protective orders. The shooters should not legally have had #guns.
Today kicks off my end of year posts on the blog. First up I have my Spotify playlist of most of my favorite songs from 2023 that are not J-Pop or K-Pop.
I did have a lapse in my Spotify subscription, so for a few months I wasn't really adding stuff. I did get some stuff I missed initially in the playlist though.
Journalists prefer to write about the news rather than making headlines, but we can't forget that 2023 was the year you saved our publication from going under!

This #young#jackdaw wasn’t sure what to make of me but the constant warning calls from its parents in a nearby tree soon prompted a short, clumsy flight to safety.
Two of them were collaborations (including one with @lehto!) and the other was from the Ephemera Remixes EP. It turns out almost all of my releases this year were collabs and remixes and I love that.
