The #AngloSaxon capitalist model ruined earth for humanity and many other species. #BigOil has been its undertaker, b/c #BigOilKnew.

If capitalism hadn't made the #GreenRevolution possible, human society would already have reached the #overshoot (1) point at the end of the last century:

Report on one of the earliest known circular plazas in #Andean #SouthAmerica & one of the earliest examples of #megalithic ceremonial #architecture in the Americas. This is constructed of large free-standing & vertically placed megalithic stones - located in #Cajamarca basin of northern #Peruvian #Andes. This construction method has never before been reported in the Andes & is #distinct from other monumental circular plazas in the region.

Genetic and for in and populations

'authors of a new study published in Science Advances have pinpointed a genetic variant that may have helped this population adapt to life at extraordinary heights. Tibetans in the Himalayas possess a different mutation in the same gene, suggesting both groups independently evolved similar adaptations to high-altitude living. The finding demonstrates “how evolution can sometimes favor common solutions to a common problem,” says Graham Scott, a physiologist at McMaster University who wasn’t involved in the study.'

IMO, combining the German invention of #agrivoltaics with the ancient and proven #Andean agricultural, water-management, and flood-control system of #WaruWaru could solve food, water, land, and green energy challenges in all parts of the globe where there still will be sufficient annual #precipitation.

The major indigenist journal Amauta (1926-30) had Indigenous writers in it. Francisco Chukiwanka Ayulo, a Quechua lawyer from Puno, Peru, fought to return Indigenous land back and even created a Quechua-Aymara alphabet. He even had direct bloodline to the Incan nobility. Chukiwanka Ayulo wrote in "Amauta" about the need to support Indigenous peoples and he was a friend of esteemed indigenist José Carlos Mariátegui. #peru #indigenous #inca #native #andean

Yes, I was quite angry, when I read it. We could've head a second #GreenRevolution FOUR DECADES ago.
But it gets even better than that. We could have had an agricultural revolution for arid landscapes outside of the #Andean regions 490 years ago: in 1532 the conquistador Francisco #Pizarro captured the Sapa #Inca #Atahualpa #Cajamarca. A year later, the #Spaniards could have told the #ReyesCatólicos of #Spain about the advanced...

I might be biased, but I think the subject of #agrivoltaics and its (in my view) so far ignored combined use with the #Andean agricultural method of #WaruWaru (also called #camellones in Spanish) would be a game changer for #agriculture in many regions.
