Why would anyone want this functionality? Who would look at this announcement and say "OMG, this is what I've always needed!" and start chatting with these bots?

No joke, one of the big impacts of AI image generation is it'll kill the hand-drawn porn ecosystem which sustains a lot of artist. I never had, let's say, the right style for that sort of thing, but a lot of artists do it because it's one of the few premium services where people will reliably pay real money for good quality.

I just want to say thank you to everyone who favourites, boosts and comments on my posts. I've had such a crap time recently and I so appreciate you all going out of your way to interact with me in these ways. It is also truly lovely to find people who are as enthusiastic about drystone and flowers/nature as I am.

Every single ‘software engineer’ I know who has ever over-valued their own work over blue collar work has, without fail, turned out to be MAGAs or incels. They tend to be the people who have their self worth wrapped up in their compensation and status, and are quick to anger when transit workers or delivery drivers, who work long hours in ways that are taxing in every way, break their narrative for themselves
