days 39-40 of my #100DaysChallenge of drawing animals. I continued working on some watercolors and more intentionally to be finished stuff - with the result that except for the elephants that were actually finished at this point, the rest is still languishing in my room in the same state like, 2 weeks or so later. Gah. I hope I'll have the energy to actually finish them this week!

So, today, short before lunch, this story idea / character materialized in my brain and I had to write it down.
It is a very rough #WiP and right now a lot of things are pretty vague, but this character and, while writing, the second one are "there", so I wanted to share the idea to hear what you think about it.

Hoping for a blocking miracle with this one, the single ply Merino looks so... messy, even though I know I have nice tension. Not so much with this I guess.

Getting back into the swing of crochet has been a lot of fun.
This is the body of a little amigurumi doll. It's the first thing I've made in quite some time where nothing's fudged. I do not think I made a mistake on it (cue everything going horribly wrong for the next parts, lol)
The humor in this section is pretty dry. The two characters (Ume & Shiomi) are struggling to get along. Things are a bit lighter in sections where Ume-san and Tomo-kun banter.

She lit two cigarettes at once and passed me mine. I was moving up in the world. This time, she had given me a secondary kiss instead of my taking it. #WIP
Two projects I'm working on. The alpaca is roughly half-done and on hold until I finish the memorial project. I did some work on it last night and this morning...and I was late for work because I got carried away. Ah well. At this rate it should be done in a couple of days.
today i got decker working inside of Unreal so that i can show hypercard poems while you explore the world.
yay for having bitsy and hypercard in a big 3D game!
(the effect is beautiful because it really feels like you're experiencing the environment in different contexts)
