I’m looking for recommendations for a good place to visit in the United States, that is within 4-ish hour driving distance from any of Arizona’s borders. Want to get out of AZ, but can’t fly or drive too far right now. Want to go for 1-2 weeks. Looking for friendly area that has culture, but not too busy with humans. Some nightlife would be nice, I’m a night owl and it’s frustrating when everything closes at 8 or 10p. Close access to outdoor exploration is important. A place that isn’t super loud is necessary, or at least if the place is loud, I can stay in a nearby location that is quiet to get some peace (I have noise sensitivity). Not super hot (ideally under 90 degrees F). Not sure what time of year, but I’m thinking May-June.
There's absolutely zero stress or hurry, both for the sailors on their crafts and for the person watching them (that would be you) from the rocky beach.
In the background, historic Polignano a Mare, Italy, invites you to visit when you are done strolling along the rocks, looking out to sea, and just . . . being.
Excited to announce that my "Wild Parrot" art will be featured in the guest rooms of the new Margaritaville Resort in Cape Cod! A touch of Florida in Hyannis!
May the image take you to a perfect summer day, one in which you have no obligations or anything written on a schedule, and you are free to dream . . .
Bryce is a magical, unusual, fascinating place. May the artwork take you to this unique landscape, where you can immerse yourself in its beauty, wildness, and silence.
The last hiur of the day is slipping by, #FediFam. While we wait for the 11:00 news to show the weather, let's take a moment to feel #gratitude and think of THREE GOOD THINGS™️!
Family, friends, even acquaintances -- our relationship with one another -- that's what gives life spice, interest, joy, dynamism. An experience shared is one multiplied, made bigger, more memorable.
Social media, artificial intelligence, interaction with a screen -- these will never approach the depth and richness of reality.
May the artwork take you to a tranquil place and a quiet time, so still that you can hear the trickle of water cascading down the rocks at the Emerald Pools.
It's a hidden, secret enclave a couple kilometers from Polignano a Mare on the eastern coast of Italy, although to the locals, it's not so secret.
A prime spot for swimming and boating, the Cala Port'Alga Cove is the perfect location to spend a sunny afternoon in. Bring some water and a lunch, and you're all set.
Confluence of Comanche Creek and Rio Costilla in the Valle Vidal unit of the Carson National Forest. Nice oxbow. The rock formation is known as Comanche Point.
May the image take you to a place of magical splendor where the sun is deliciously warm, the surf ever, just ever so slightly cool, and the day filled with wonderful moment after wonderful moment.
