3D illustration for a 2006 issue of the Dutch ComputerTotaal magazine, about the SABNZBD tool, which was (is?) much-used for concatenating multi-part downloads from Usenet newsgroups.
#BruceHallman is a #SanFrancisco street artist and sculptor most known for making these iconic clay faces. His work can often be found glued under bike racks in the Mission. See much more of his work (not just bike racks and faces) here instagram.com/brucehallman #SFGraffiti#graffiti#sculpture
Tim & I went to the launch of the Art of the Brick at the Melbourne showgrounds last night. The sculptures are amazing & the animals especially are technically superb. I loved the human figures most though: more abstract in idea & execution. #lego#art#sculpture#melbourne
The trading posts in #Gallup are impressive. With Zuni Pueblo, the Navajo Nation, and Hopi in close proximity, the density of artistic talent in the immediate area is impressive.
Going to try creating a sci-fi gun in MagicaCSG. I'm not very experienced in detailed hard-surface modeling, so it's going to be an interesting challenge.
Disclaimer: I hate real-life guns. My sci-fi gun will emit a peace beam. ✌️😉
I like this shot I took just after sunset on Saturday - my new iPhone does a great job with after-dark photography compared to the previous one (which was five years old).
This sculpture is a tribute to the Great Petition, an enormous scroll of signatures in favour of women's voting rights which was presented to the Victorian Parliament in the 1890s. It's located just behind the Parliament building.
3D illustration for a 2006 issue of the Dutch ComputerTotaal magazine, about parental supervision regarding MSN Messenger, which was a popular messaging application at the time.
I made the characters in the style of the MSN icons.
I love these weird ceramic creations that Jon Sung has on his Etsy page. The brightly colored tardigrades and handmade Star Trek sculptures are cute, but I really love his "Fruit friend" characters, which are ceramic figures you can store a piece of fruit on. https://www.etsy.com/shop/ForecastFossil?ref=butts#ceramic#Sculpture
Started a new MagicaCSG project. This time I chose to assign colors and materials early on, instead of focusing solely on modeling in a single clay-like color first.
