Instead of having a #SilentSunday - how about making some music? I fool around on the piano and I've been in a number of all-percussion bands. Do you have an instrument of choice?
No gods, no masters and absolutely no fucking algorithms. Just pure, undiluted essence of weirdo, rendered in musical form. Start with Psychedelic Ghost Stories, then dip into Metaphysical Shitposting once you've got the taste for it.
Happy #BicycleDay to all who celebrate. I used to embark on a trip every year in its honor, but kids and age caught up with me and made that impossible. I did write a track about it a few years ago. Have a listen, and if you're riding that #psychedelic bike today, I hope it helps propel your journey.
We've almost reached the current day, so let's have some free codes for Psychedelic Ghost Stories! This is my latest "proper" album, meaning all the songs are both composed and produced; no sketches, improvs or "experiments" here! Musically, I am gonna say the title tells you what to expect -- it's dark and a little creepy, as well as being deeply and truly psychedelic (I hope!).
The mix you didn't know you needed in your life: Peruvian Psychedelic Cumbia, lined up by a man having the TIME OF HIS LIFE spinning these records. All from the Peruvian label Infopesa, which "became a factory of hits in the 70s & 80s."
Thanks to a great boost yesterday from the write-up @yoniden posted, I had one of my best days of the month streaming. Now I'm within ~50 streams of my usual monthly goal and I am asking for your help to get me across the line. Just two days left...
Especially relevant to new followers and I picked up like 10 yesterday, so...
If you've got 7 minutes and a penchant for trippy musical journeys, have I got a treat for you! It's "The Madman Drowns In the Same Waters In Which the Mystic Swims with Joyful Ease."
Quite a mouthful of title, I know (it's a bastardization of a Joseph Campbell quote), but I think it fits. Give it a listen and let me know what you think.
This is a remix of two similar images. Somebody told me they got vertigo from the slightly out-of-focus background flowers in an older version so I sharpened them up for this version. Hope you like it!
