Jetzt funktioniert nicht mal mehr Nitter, das ich genutzt habe, um dem Twitter-Account der Stadt Karlsruhe per RSS-Feed zu folgen. Und auch via Browser kommt man jetzt gar nicht mehr auf Profile oder Postings. Die Plattform ist nun vollständig in sich geschlossen. Selbst das Lesen funktioniert nun nur noch mit Twitter-Account.
Wer den Firefox 115 (ESR) verwendet, der sollte folgende Einstellung über die about:config setzen: "extensions.quarantinedDomains.enabled = false"
Ansonsten kann es vorkommen, dass bestimmte Add-ons auf einigen Seiten einfach deaktiviert sind. Welche Add-ons, wo aktiv sind, sollte mal schön der Nutzer selbst entscheiden. ✊ 👇
Now that most of the compost tea & sludge are contained, I've showered, and the laundry is running, I can reflect on what went wrong this morning.
In a nutshell, all of it. All of the things I thought might go wrong when trying to strain 20 gallons of compost tea by myself, in my PJs, after a near all-nighter finishing a report, did in fact go wrong.
Did I learn any lessons? Probably not.
Do my veggies appreciate my efforts? They damn well better!

If you have #Python 3.11 installed on Bullseye from the "#deadsnakes" ppa, uninstall it before attempting the upgrade. It conflicts with the Python 3.11 package in Bookworm in a way that causes the upgrade to #fail partway through. Then you have to manually fix it all...

To make this even worse, they told me I got it early because I'm blind. But... couldn't be bothered to include alt text? #fail
Apple's biggest #UX#fail is absolutely not the mouse charging port at the bottom, but the Power button opposite to the volume buttons on the iPhone. If you are a normal person and embrace the thing you push from the opposite side (which is what nature intended with opposable thumbs), you'll end up with screenshots instead, or missed moments when you use volume as the shutter button. It's absolutely unbelievable.
And anyone with "you're holding it wrong" can fuck right off.
Doh! In a scramble to get my IT stuff back in order, I forgot a SSH key i was using is the only way to get into a specific remote machine, and reset it. I am pretty sure I have a backup... somewhere.... maybe. Sent a new public key to my ISP so they can log in at the console and add it (dumb!) #IT#fail

I recently had to print two dozen name tags out of a spreadsheet. Two columns: name, and affiliation. I thought: there must be a way to automate this, right? Fiddling with libreoffice menus, I discover a type of document corresponding to my needs: "Labels". Great, almost there (so I thought). (1/)

Ansage des Infopunktes kein Problem Zugbindung ist aufgehoben, aber nein da ist Datumsgrenze da haben sie Pech. Dann müssen sie halt 6h später fahren und sich ein Hotel nehmen.

Fido Token Verknüpfung ist wohl am SP gescheitert. Rote Box mit Session-ID, Support Bot kennt sich nicht aus und hilft mir nicht. Frust bei mir! Handy-Verknüpfung nicht besser -QR-Code Scan fehlgeschlagen, da vom dummen User (mir) im DigitalenAmt nicht auffindbar. Fail 2.
Bleibts' dann bei SMS Token... Uff. Da war ich mit der Handysignatur schon mal weiter.
Is it just me or is #phpstorm getting worse by the day?
I'm runnig 2024.1 (Build #PS-241.14494.237, built on March 27, 2024) but have to constantly restart the IDE to fix bizarre errors like PHPStorm claiming a property or parameter isn't used while highlighting the very use a line later, inconsistently resolving asserts with instanceof checks - e.g. claiming a method doesn't exist in the class referenced in a different assert and not seeing a parameter that is clearly there... #fail#ensh11n
