Good afternoon, I'm searching some advice for some software to manage the tasks of a small group.
I have no problems regarding mine specifically, I use TaskWarrior and that is alright.
However, I'd like some simple way to note down which things have to be done overall by the group and which ones are being worked on. It would also be nice if it tracked a little bit how long these things took to complete.
I want something simple, most of the things we just talk to each other. Just not to forget what everyone is doing.
I don't plan this to be keeping track of everything everyone is doing, just important things which may take a while to complete.
I was looking at stuff like Trello and Asana. I'd prefer a tool which is free, but if some significant advantages are available I can pay.
Republicans hate Girls and Women - they have already bent the laws to be able to murder us and disappear us. They are now making it legal to humiliate and torture us. There is no love - and there is nothing redeemable - in a man who would be ok with this assault, subjugation, and physical abuse of Girls and Women. Girls and Women aren't vessels to club and claim caveman style. We aren't vessels to impregnate and imprison. We are autonomous beings with fundamental human rights to self determine. And: whether raped or not--> Abortion is healthcare! Ps.Men speak up for us.

They scammed the country. Leonard Leo ally Tim Busch says that abortion isn’t a “states rights” issue after all. Nope. They plan to use the 14th Amendment to overturn state constitutional amendments protecting abortion rights. He also calls SCOTUS the “Leo court.”
Looking for tips. Due to a catastrophic fridge/freezer failure at home we're starting from scratch. What tips do you have for organizing a drawer-type freezer??
Does anyone else use #Notion to manage lists and such for their ADHD? While I don't like it for a business that needs to scale, for individuals, small groups, and families this is damn near perfect for me. I can predefine the stores in a list and then filter it out by Store when I am there to grab exactly what I need.
No more guessing what store to grab each item anymore. It's planned before I even hit the road

How do people keep a garden journal? I've tried but just have a jumble of chronological notes, but with chronological, I find it hard to link things together like planted X and harvested it when??
Plus I'm bad at keeping up with it.
You'd think that some of my skills for keeping records in lab would transfer, but not so far.
Started trying out both #Obsidian and #Logseq about a month or so ago as #PKM systems. In researching, I came across the #PARA method of organizing digital information.
'm finding it very interesting. It has made me think about the information I create and collect in new ways and how much time I've wasted trying to create the perfect organizational system.
However, I would love to do a deep dive into other systems or methods.
Some additional context: I've been using #Logseq and #PARA for professional life and both are fantastic. But I am struggling to conceptualize PARA for my #knowledge work. Basically, I can see it being useful to bring some #organization for my life but when it comes to articles, papers, and books for #academics and #writing, I don't feel like it is as useful. Maybe I'm too afraid to let go of my old systems but I just wanted to put a call out for ideas.
I agree. He is a thief and will take all of the RNC money for his personal needs. It has been on-going since 2020. The RNC seized by trump criminal family. The RNC is all but dead - except for funding the criminal defendant.
I just got the last two ink pads I was missing from the Distress Oxide palette: Rustic Wilderness and Crackling Campfire. So I swatched and organized my collection.
“The MAGA movement that has hijacked the republican party has revealed more clearly than ever the lie of the “America First” slogan they stole from the Nazi appeasers of the 1930s. The MAGA GOP is not about America First. It is solely about Trump First”
“Their foreign policy is not guided by American national interests. It is a manifestation of the malignant narcissism of one man. And because for him reelection is the one way he might stay out of jail, he is on a no-holds-barred, scorched earth campaign to get there.
He views every issue as being about him. Every guidance he gives his party serves his personal goals. Everything else is not even a consideration. Consequences be damned. And as they have clearly demonstrated this week, the leaders of the Republican Party have completely capitulated to Trump."
Found an interesting hack for controllers that still have a box.
If it's a two-part box, you can orient the base part 45 degrees into the base and it will self-stand. The steam controller is a bit more of a nuisance, but you can kind of prop it up and leave the box open clam style.
Now to find out what to do with every other controller. You could probably achieve similar results with cut foam though. 🤔 #gaming#organization#cleaning

How do you sort the books on your bookshelves?
1 - haphazard
2 - by author
3 - by publisher
4 - by cover (colour and/or size)
5 - by title
6 - by emotion
7 - some other way (what?) #organisation#organization#library#books#ocd
Dear #sociology community: I was foolhardy enough to announce an MA seminar on "Social #transformation" for the summer semester. We start with the idea that every change has to go through a complex society, so there are no automatisms. I'm not without any plan, but I would be interested to know what reading you would recommend - thanks!
Via another channel yesterday came more references from @immersender#organization / #fieldtheory :
SAFs (Fligstein & McAdam); reflexive innovation (Windeler); issue fields (Hoffman).
And as an evergreen: Eisenstadt.
